Ah Meng 1960-2008 February 8, 2008

I was kinda sad when i heard on the news that our beloved Singapore Zoo icon, Ah Meng had passed away. I remember when i was working in the Night Safari, Ah Meng was always referred by the tourists as some kind of “folk hero”. She was the star of “The breakfast show” in the Zoo. Always endearing and entertaining, she will always be loved.
She will be commemorated for her efforts towards generating a greater awareness on the plight of orang utans in the wild.
it shows one thing man…we’re getting old!!!
